This is not just another day at the salt mill. (Sorry, we couldn't resist.) This excellent mill grinds from a seting of 1, which is fine as powder, to 6, which is as coarse as sea salt. It accomplishes with a two-stage grinding mechanism. The first chamber grinds the salt coarsely then the second chamber further grinds it as coarsely or as finely as you wish. It's so easy to use that once you select a setting it remains there - even if you refill it - until you want it changed. It's also great for pepper, dried herbs, and grinding spices to your specifications.
