    Nowadays the holiday season seems to be all about gifting. I spend a lot of time thinking about my gift list, pondering gift options, looking for suitable gifts, and hoping that my gifts will bring, ooh’s, ahh’s, smiles, delight and pleasure to those who receive them... It’s important to me to gift well, and I try to be thoughtful about every single gift, because I want the gifts I give to be meaningful and to reflect some aspect of my feelings about the recipient.   • Why You Should Use a Fountain Pen

    It seems antithetical in this day and age to use something as seemingly old fashioned as a fountain pen. You’ll appreciate how wrong that thinking is when you examine the advantages of making a fountain pen your primary writing implement… I use a fountain pen for comfort. It takes far less pressure to make an impression on paper with a fountain pen than it does with a ballpoint, or even a roller ball pen. This means I exert less effort, so my hand doesn’t tire. This translates into better penmanship when I write. Many think that it’s more difficult or that it requires special finesse to write with a fountain pen. In fact, one quickly adapts to a pen’s feel.
